Practice Owners
Joanne is an experienced Dental Therapist and has worked in the dental industry for 20+ years, she enjoys spending time with her two sons and adores dogs.
Kimberley has been in the dental industry for 18+ years and first qualified as a nurse, progressing in her career to management and is currently in her final year at university as a Dental Therapist. She enjoys spending time with her family, dog walks and being near to the beach.
A Message from Kim & Jo
We met during the early years of our careers and quickly became close friends. Before long, we realised that we shared the same dream: one day, we would own a dental practice together.
Through hard work, determination and more than a few challenges, that dream became a reality when we became the proud owners of Coast Dental Health in early 2016. As two of the first Dental Care Professionals in the UK to become practice owners, it was an incredibly exciting and proud moment for us both.
Coast began as a small, two-surgery practice. Since then, we have balanced growing the practice with the many milestones and challenges of our personal lives, building homes, raising our families, navigating the pandemic and coping with the loss of people close to us.
Throughout it all, our friendship, shared values and commitment to Coast have remained at the heart of everything we do. We have continually invested our time, energy, ideas and resources into creating the modern, welcoming, five-surgery practice you see today.
Coast is much more than a business to us, it is something we have built with genuine love and care. We hope every patient feels that from the moment they walk through our doors.

Kim & Jo
Dentists
Darja qualified as a dentist in Lithuania in 2012 and has a special interest in all cosmetic procedures, she has completed additional training in orthodontic treatment, composite bonding, veneers and also provides facial aesthetic treatment. Darja joined the practice in August 2014. In her spare time, she enjoys being with her young daughter and loves to dance.
Claire qualified as a dentist at Leeds University in 2000 and then completed her MFDS with the royal college of surgeons in 2004, she is exceptionally skilled in the removal of teeth and enjoys all aspects of general dentistry. Having spent majority of her dental career in the Royal Navy Claire joined us at Coast Dental in December 2015. In her spare time Claire enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, skiing and travelling on adventurous holidays.
Terrianne qualified as a dentist in Manchester in 2005 and has since gone on to complete her MSc in endodontic treatments, she has a special interest in root canal treatments and joined us here at Coast in February 2020. In her spare time Terrianne enjoys wine tasting and socialising with her friends.
Nadeem qualified as a dentist in Sheffield in 2015, he enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and has a particular interest in restorative dentistry, Nadeem loves to work with nervous patients helping them overcome their fears. He joined Coast Dental in January 2021 and when outside of work he enjoys spending time with his young baby, wife and cat along with being a huge car enthusiast.
Dental Therapists
Joanne makes all her patients feel at ease and comfortable. Joanne is married with a young son.
Amy started her dental career as a dental nurse and then graduated as a Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist at Portsmouth University in 2020, she then went on to complete a post graduate vocational training year in Slough. Amy works very well with nervous patients and really enjoys the dental therapy aspect of her role, which she looks to develop further in the future. Outside of work Amy recently married her sweetheart, loves to read and to spend time with her 3 adorable cats.
Vicki qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2011 and has worked in a variety of different practices learning plenty of different skills. She joined us at Coast Dental in October 2017 as a nurse and after taking a special interest in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy was accepted into Portsmouth University in 2021. After qualifying in 2024 Vicki has now returned to the practice as a Dental Therapist. In her spare time Vicki enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children as well as teaching Dancing.
Dental Nurses
Kimberley will be your first point of contact at the practice, she is always full of smiles and will do her very best to make you feel as comfortable as possible. Kim loves scuba diving. She is currently completing her ILM in leadership and management Level 4.
Kelly qualified as a dental nurse at Chichester university in 2013 and has spent time working in many different dental settings, she is highly experienced in all aspects of general dentistry and is exceptionally good at reassuring nervous patients. Kelly joined us here at Coast in December 2015. Kelly married her husband in August 2015 and has three grown up children, in her spare time she enjoys shopping and walking with her gorgeous doggy Milo.
Sophie qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2003 and has worked with many dental specialists during her career. She is a highly knowledgeable, chatty and reassuring dental nurse and particularly enjoys oral surgery and aesthetic dentistry. Sophie joined our team in August 2021. In her spare time Sophie enjoys socialising with friends, spending time with her Partner and grown up son and walking her lovely little dog Mabel.
